Postcards from the Great War 15

Another First World War card from Bruce Bairnsfather.

The Humour of the Great War

Bruce Bairnsfather had actual experience of life in the trenches before being invalided back to Blighty. His Fragments from France originally decorated many a dug-out on Western Front. I’m not sure he experienced a juggling bomber though! (What we call hand grenades were originally called bombs.)
