The ABC Award – Yeah!

Seascapes Aus has nominated me for the ABC Award She says that I am a “daring commentator, [who] reports in depth on exhibitions and poses the tricky questions about some of the ‘accepted’ truths about contemporary art.” Quite a complement! Thank you so much, Philippa!

The original requirement was to tell everyone about yourself based on the letters of the alphabet, but the current trend is just to use the letters of your blogging handle.

Nineteen sixties music on my headphones. John OTway fan (see the video below for his version of House of the Rising Sun.). Exhibition visitor. Screenprinter. (to the) Married (with our Ruby Wedding Anniversary in two years). Has an Internet website commemorating the Fallen of the First World War of Newton-le-Willows, Merseyside. Has a daughter called Lucy (but not Lucy Pinder, the model!). Fan of Klezmer music, though not Jewish. Refers to wife as “The MANagement”.

(Sorry, can’t work our how to insert the video directly.)

The second requirement is to give details of blogs which I consider have Awesome Blog Content:

The four blogs which I am listing have a common theme. They are all about artists or works of art, with an awesome amount of information and detail:

my daily art displayLisa Thatcher, Image Object Text and ::: silver and exact.

Please check them out. And thank you again to Seascapes Aus.
